I had an awesome Friday November the 18th. Let me tell you why.

On the 18th, my college hosted a launch party for Assasson's Creed Revelations. A whole group of us fans united in a lecture hall full of tv displaying demos and the big projector waiting to show live gameplay played by students who signed up to play. Pizza was served while we watched gameplay and trivia questions were asked periodically. A correct answer was rewarded with either an Assassin's Creed shirt, pint glass, pin, or deck of cards.

There was also a raffle that you could put your name in in order to win a free copy of the game. Now, you may have already taken the title of my journal and my jubliation into account to come to a conclusion.

And yes, I won a free copy of Assassin's Creed Revelations for the Xbox360.

Well, actually, the friend I went with had the honor of having his name pulled. But, since he has neither an Xbox360 or PS3, he gave it to me. And I give him all my gratitude for it.

It was a good friday.
